About Pembcorp Auto Group

Pembcorp Auto Group was officially launched in September 2008. The beginning of the group started a couple of years earlier.

Dalmad Holdings Inc., the parent company of Pembcorp Auto Group, was created in August 2001 as primarily a real estate holding company in Ontario.  In June of 2006 Dalamd Holdings Inc. purchased it’s first dealership, Pembina Dodge in Winnipeg , Manitoba from Ike Vickar. The dealership was renamed and re branded as THE NEW PEMBINA CHRYSLER. A new vision and business structure was implemented immediately with successful results. The New Pembina Chrysler quickly became one of the fastest growing Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealerships in Western Canada.

In April of 2007 Dalmad Holdings Inc. acquired Garden City Chrysler in Morden, Manitoba.  Garden City Chrysler was operated for forty years by Max Friesen and Wilf Warkentin and was the last remaining dealership in Southern Manitoba. The dealership was renamed Pembina Valley Chrysler, complete with a new logo and sharing the “Winged P” logo with the Winnipeg dealership. The Morden dealership has also grown dramatically since April 2007 with growth in new and used vehicle sales, as well as parts and service.

Dalmad Holdings Inc. acquired its third dealership, Portage Chrysler, in August of 2008.  The dealership was owned by the Thompson family since 1967. Located in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba the acquisition was dubbed Project Triangle since it provided Dalmad Holdings with key geographically located dealerships in Winnipeg, Southern and Central Manitoba.

Pembcorp Auto Group is an organization whose corporate structure and business planning discipline has allowed for rapid dealership growth.
